My Evening Skincare Routine

I know, here we are, another Wednesday, another blogger about to tell you just how important it is to look after your skin, haven’t we seen this before?

But hold on! Instead of your usual run down of a mix of products to use for removing your makeup and cleansing your skin, today I’m going to talk you guys about my amazing 3-step evening skincare routine.IMG_1276A few weeks ago I was looking at the Liz Earle counter, and I decided to ask some questions about the brand, to help me decide whether or not they were a brand that I wanted to get behind.

After 5 minutes of talking about the brand, and the products, I adored everything product, and everything they stood for. Not only is Liz Earle cruelty-free, but all products are created with sensitive skin in mind, so they don’t contain any alcohol, or other harsh ingredients or chemicals that can burn or agitate the skin.

So without me gushing endlessly about how much I love this company, let’s get into my evening skincare routine!IMG_1277I start out by removing my makeup with the Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, it takes some time to get used to because you’ve got to apply one or two pumps directly onto dry skin, then massage your makeup off and with a damp muslin cloth, wipe away the product from your face.

After I’ve removed all of my makeup, I wait for a couple of minutes and then apply a little bit of the Instant Boost Skin Tonic to a cotton pad, and then lightly swipe it across my entire face.

And finally I apply a thin layer of the Skin Repair Moisturiser all over my face. I really like the moisturiser because usually moisturisers can’t seem to balance well with my skin, they’re either far too oily and leave my skin permanently sticky, or not moisturising enough and disappear after just a few seconds. Plus, my skin hasn’t just completely adjusted to this moisturiser, so it continues to properly hydrate my skin with regular use.

As I’ve said, this brand is perfect for all types of skin, including extremely sensitive and combination skin, as the naturally active ingredients help to balance out the skin, moisturising your dry areas, and neutralising your oily areas!

I have been using this products at least every other day for a month now, and I still love the super clean and soft feeling that it leaves on my skin. I would recommend these products to everyone, regardless of your skin type or preferences, because it works well for everyone, and the scent is very light and just a ‘clean’ scent, so it’s not overpowering or something that only a few people will like.

That’s it for my review and run down of my evening skincare routine, I hoped it helped some of you out and gave you some insight into Liz Earle!

Have you tried out anything from Liz Earle yet?
