Hey guys! I know, I know, “disappear for a month and then just come back with a ‘Hey guys!’ and expect us all to not have any questions, really Corinne?” I am sorry for disappearing without warning, but I think I had a moment when I realised that as I was finally happy with the content that I was posting, I got scared to ruin the streak of posts that I actually liked. I finally was happy with every element of my posts, something which I hadn’t felt since I started, over a year and a half ago now. I realised that I didn’t want to ruin this streak of content that I was proud of, for the sake of sticking to a schedule that I implemented a year ago.
Hey guys! I haven’t done a favourites post since November of last year, a huge 7 months ago, as this year I decided that I’d do my ‘Snippets’ videos instead of monthly favourites posts. So since it has been so long, I thought I’d share some of my favourites that I’ve been loving throughout Spring.Maybelline’s Colour Show Nail Polish in ‘Dusty Rose’ | When Maybelline released their ‘Blushed Nudes’ collection, I knew that I was going to love almost the entirety of the nail polishes, because I’ve been adoring lighter and more muted tones on my nails lately. The brushes of these polishes are a good size, not quite as big as Rimmel’s, but not thin and difficult to use. I love this colour in particular because it’s so pretty, goes with any colour outfit, and perfectly matches my new LYDC bag!
Rimmel’s Brow This Way Brow Gel | At the start of this year I decided to step up my brow game, as I occasionally filled them in, but they never stayed looking how I wanted them to throughout the day, so I decided to try out a brow gel, and with this product, I enjoy doing my brows every. single. day. This product has also inspired me to keep on top of my brow game by shaping them, so that when I use this gel, they look exactly as I want them to. This gel keeps them put all day long, and is slightly tinted so I don’t even need to pencil them in before using this product.
Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara | I know I’ve spoken about this mascara before, but I’ve been loving it again this year because it’s affordable, but really elongates and curls the lashes.Katy Perry’s Mad Potion Perfume | I recently got this perfume, and I’ve been wearing it every day since. I really feel like it’s light enough to be worn as a perfect Spring daytime perfume, but also sultry and deep enough to wear in the evenings. It’s a really unique but sweet scent, with the main accords of vanilla and peony.
MAC Lipstick in ‘Please Me’ | I had actually seen someone with similar colouring to myself wearing this lipstick, and it looked amazing, so naturally I decided to buy it. It’s a matte formula, but not like most matte lipsticks where it turns crumbly and just makes you want to lather your lips in lip balm. It’s surprisingly creamy, and a gorgeous medium pink shade, I’d recommend it to anyone with a fair to medium skin tone, as it’s not a distracting and overboard pink, it’s just really pretty and adds a touch of colour.Garnier’s Micellar Water | As I’ve been gradually growing my makeup collection, and therefore the amount of makeup I’ve been wearing daily, I often get to bed at the end of the day and can’t really motivate myself to get up and carry out my usual skincare routine, so I’ve been incredibly grateful to having this product (alongside a stack of cotton wool pads) right next to my bed. I can be half asleep, but I’ll always remember to take my makeup off with this handy and quick micellar water.
Rituals Miracle Balm | I’ve only just talked about this product to you guys, see that post HERE, but I’ve been loving this hand balm for a little while now, as it’s everything I’ve been looking for in a hand lotion, but haven’t found before.
John Frieda’s Frizz Ease Touch Up Creme | With dyeing my hair a fair few times this year already, I have seen something of a change in the condition of my hair, so I recently decided to improve my haircare routine, see a post on that HERE, but this product in particular has really been saving my hair on days when it is determined to be frizzy and kinky. This product acts as a leave in conditioner that you apply to dry and styled hair, working as a sort of moisturiser for the ends of your hair. I love applying it to my hair after blow drying it.
Those are all of the things that I’ve been loving this Spring, I hope you enjoyed this post!
What products & things have you been loving throughout this half of the year?
Hello everyone! It’s the start of a new year, so that of course means I’m going to talk about my favourites from the last year!
I’ve included random favourites as well as beauty favourites, but I have limited myself, because if I was going to talk about everything I loved from this past year, we’d be here until Halloween.
So here we go with my 2015 (almagamated) favourites!BEAUTY
Urban Decay’s Naked 3 Palette | Yes, as this past year was the year I started my blog, I thus opened my eyes to the world of Urban Decay, and naturally, the famous Naked 3. I am so glad I invested in this palette because it has everything you could need in a palette, whether you’re new to makeup, or much more confident in it. These rose-gold hues really do live up to the hype, and the lasting power (when used in conjunction with Urban Decay’s primer) is unreal.
Estée Lauder All Over Face Compact | This compact is another great all-occasions-product. The bronzer is my favourite bronzer to use for contouriing and adding some dimension and colour to a base, and the variations of blusher colour are great to adapt to different looks.
Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara | I tried this mascara out reasonably early in the year, and I haven’t bought another one since. It creates a false-lash look, without the mess/hassle of applying falsies!
Collection’s 24 Hour Extreme Felt Liner | As if I haven’t already spoken enough about this eyeliner. It’s my lifetime favourite, not just from 2015. You can hear plenty more about it HERE, HERE and HERE.
Rimmel Lipstick in #700 ‘Naughty Nude’ | I’ve always been after a nude colour to suit my skin tone, and holy heck have Rimmel found it. So if you are also looking for the perfect nude, and we have similar colouring, definitely check out the ‘Only 1’ range.
Maybelline Baby Lips | The best chapstick on the market. I also really like that they are available in different colours, so you can have a slight tint to your lips without having to use a lipstick as well as a chapstick.
Makeup Revolution Highlighter in ‘Pink Lights’ | This is one of the prettiest and most affordable drugstore highlighters. It looks beautiful, and you only need a light swipe of it for it to really shine.
Dead Sea Mud Masks | I picked these up one day because they are really cheap, and you get 2 masks in a pack, so I thought I’d try them out. In fact, you can generously get 4 masks out of these 2 packs, so it’s even better value for money! These masks are perfect for a pamper night while you’re in the bath, or just a quick mask before bed. They’re very refreshing and cooling, so also suitable for all skin types.
Lush’s ‘Shoot For The Stars’ Bath Bomb | Again, perfect for a pamper night. I think my love for the sea means I have a deeper love for blue bath bombs, because it turns your bath into a gorgeous clear-blue sea colour. An the added sparkle just makes the whole thing a dream, come on.
Bluetooth Speaker | These speakers are amazing. I know they’re nothing new, but I am now old enough to be fascinated by the fact that the music is being transported through the air from my phone/laptop to this speaker. It’s also surprisingly loud in comparison to it’s size!
Nivea Sensitive Day Moisturiser | Once I’d realised the error of my ways with using Nivea’s ordinary moisturiser in my regular skincare routine (clogged pores, greasiness, makeup sliding!) I wanted to find a much lighter and gentler moisturiser to use daily. And this moisturiser is the ideal one! It’s light enough to be used regularly, and not clog your pores.
Sparkly Shoes | 2015 was the year I widened my shoe-horizon and discovered a world outside of dolly shoes and heels, and by far, these sparkly flats are my new favourite type of shoes. They are insanely comfortable, and look fabulous, let’s not deny that.
Makeup Brushes | What with starting my blog, I saw the taboo of using the makeup sponges that come with almost every eyeshadow palette, and discovered the world of makeup brushes. This set came with 15 brushes, everything you’d need to start out with makeup, from Amazon!Scarf | This scarf is amazing. It keeps you ridiculously warm when you need it, but also doubles as a blanket during lectures. So that’s all very good, and much more than you expect from a scarf, for sure.
Backpack | My little backpack is definitely my favourite bag from 2015. It’s practical and cute. All of the compartments and pockets means that even the contents of my bag are sorted into categories, how exciting!
Space Flask | Again, perfect for when you’ve got 10am lectures and your brain likes to come through at roughly 11am. I really like this design from Paperchase, and it’s available in multiple products, I’ve actually got a matching poster because I like to rep space, it’s pretty cool after all.
THAT’S IT! Phew, well done everyone for making it through that, it was certainly a recount of an entire year if ever there was one. Again, I’m going to soppily thank you all for reading this lil site, it means a lot to me. At the end of this month, Organicbynerve is going to be turning 1, and I can’t wait to celebrate that with every one of you!
Here we are once more, at the end of another two months, so that means I’m going to share with you guys what things I’ve been loving during this time.I don’t have a lot of products to talk about this time, because I’ve been loving lots of other cute little things too, so today’s favourites is a mix of everything I’ve been loving!
This Book Loves You | Exactly what I needed this past month. Exactly what everyone needs in their life. How many times has a book told you it loved you? Never. Well that’s all about to change with this innovative book. Breaking all book-norms, this book will talk directly to your heart, and improve the rest of your life.
YSL Deluxe All-Over Face Compact | I really love this compact, because not only does it have a built in mirror (which quite frankly is a life saver sometimes!) but the bronzer is incredible, and I love the variety of blushes that it has. So you can slightly alter the shade of your blush, depending on what kind of look you’re going for.
Star Master | It’s no secret that I’m a major fan of the moon, or the sky, or galaxies/space in general, so when I discovered that I could project a night-time sky in my bedroom, I don’t think I’ve ever bought something that quickly.
Sparkle Shoes | As most of my friends know, I already own these shoes in a pink/gold combo, so this month I decided to pick up a black pair, so I always have a choice of fabulous-ness.Flutter Compact Mirror | This mirror is one of the cutest things I own, and it perfectly fits in my makeup bag. I’m obsessed with it.
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder | This product does exactly what it sets out to do. Keeps your look matte for up to 12 hours, managing grease and products that don’t like to stay put.
Maybelline Colour Show Nail Varnish in #232 ‘Rose Chic’ | I’ve actually been looking for an accurate rose-gold nail varnish for quite some time now, so during a late night Tesco shopping trip, I couldn’t quite believe my eyes when I saw this shade there. It is the perfect rose-gold hue I’ve been wanting for so long!
Collection Eyeshadow Pencil in #3 ‘Vintage Blush’ | I’ve already mentioned this product before in my Travel Essentials, but I’m going to talk about it again because it really is incredible. This product is perfect for when you don’t have the time/effort to create a dramatic eye-look, you simply swipe this across your eyelids, and smudge out with your finger.
Rimmel London Lipstick in #700 ‘Naughty Nude’ | This is it. The nude colour I’ve been searching my entire life for. It’s a natural pink, with brown undertones so that it doesn’t look like you’re wearing a lipstick, rather that your lips are naturally flush with colour. This lipstick is also moisturising and long lasting, so I’d heartily recommend it for anyone still searching for that perfect nude colour.
Rimmel London Nail Varnish in #345 ‘Black Cherries’ | I love this colour for autumn/winter, because it’s a gorgeous deep, well, cherry colour. I think it’s perfect for a casual autumnal look, and suitable for Christmas!
SPEAKING OF CHRISTMAS, as it’s the 1st of December tomorrow, that means BLOGMAS STARTS HERE TOMORROW! Stay tuned for a brand new blog post every day for the next 25 days, and join me in my countdown to Christmas!
It’s the end of another month, so that can only mean another favourites post! I’ve got a lot of new things to talk about this month, along with some good old favourites, so let’s jump right into my September Favourites!Nivea Soft Moisturiser | I’ve dabbled with this moisturiser before, but I very quickly stuck to my Nivea Day & Night moisturisers. So this month I decided to dedicate myself to trying this moisturiser out properly, and I love it. It’s so light and delicate on the skin, but really leaves your face feeling hydrated and unbelievably soft. It’s also one of the rarer moisturisers that smells amazing too.
Azure Woven Facial Mask | As I’ve been having a little bit of skin trouble lately, I’ve been trying a lot of new products out to give my skin a break and a little treat. These facial masks are astounding. They’re super easy to use, but perfect for a girly night in. It’s a cloth-mask, meaning all you do is open it, and place it on your face!
Dead Sea Mineral Mud Mask | As I’ve already said, I’ve been enjoying girly nights in with face masks, and nothing leaves your skin feeling more nourished than a mud mask. These are really affordable and ready to use at any time!
Planet Spa Lavender Pillow Mist | You would not recall a life before trying a lavender pillow mist. I know I certainly don’t. The lavender helps you drift off to sleep naturally, without being too overpowering.
Colour Changing Light Up Heart | I picked this up in Tiger a little while ago, and I’ve loved it ever since. This cute little heart slowly fades through a rainbow of colours, again, perfect for having on while you’re relaxing, perhaps with a face mask and spritz of lavender on your pillows?Collection Lip Liner | I picked up this lip-liner because it’s the corresponding lip-liner to the lipstick that I fell in love with from Collection. As it’s a very deep burgundy colour, I feel that it stays put and looks even more gorgeous when I’ve lined my lips first. It’s also great for using all over your lips if you’d rather have a slight tint of this colour, before fully committing to the depth of the lipstick.
Collection Lipstick in #3 Aubergine Kiss | This lipstick, is gorgeous. I can’t even fully express it to you guys. It’s so perfect for autumn, day to evening wear, I just love it. It’s the deepest burgundy colour you can imagine, has a good staying power for a drugstore lipstick, and it doesn’t break the bank! An autumn must-have for me.
Baby Lips Chapstick | I’ve ranted to you guys about how much I adore Baby Lips chapsticks since I first picked one up earlier this year. I really like the Dr Rescue range because it’s slightly more intense, perfect for the colder weather, and if you regularly suffer with dry lips. But this one in particular is tinted pink, it’s almost like a lipstick! Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar | I know I know. More about Lush’s Creamy Candy Corinne? I can’t help it, this product is perfect for any night, any time of year. As I’ve said before when I’ve talked about it, it smells just like candy, leaves your skin feeling silky and moisturised, and it gives you a bath full of bubbles to enjoy. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Zoella Beauty Candy Cream Body Lotion | I’ve been obsessed with this smell since it first came out. It’s deliciously fruity, with bursting beads and acai berries, this body lotion really gives your skin a treat. Making you feel fresh and delicious. VO5 Heat Defence Spray | I know I’ve only just spoken about the VO5 hair care range, but my hair has never felt better ever since I tried these products out. The heat defence spray is an ultimate staple for me, and I know I always stress it, but it should be a staple for everyone. If you’re blow drying and styling your hair with heat, you need to be protecting it first. And even after re-bleaching the ends of my hair, it’s silky and soft thanks to these products.
VO5 Frizz Free Creme | This creme is perfect for use in tandem with the heat defence spray, as it moisturises the ends of your hair, leaving them feeling just a soft as after having a trim.Zombuster Game | And finally, this game. It’s as addictive as Flappy Bird, with a similar format; you’re just consumed with a mighty need to keep trying. Just bust the zombies, and avoid the civilians, it really is as (seemingly) easy as that. Let me know if you beat my high score of 100, because I will be jealous and it’ll give me all the more reason to keep playing. This app is free to download on ios and android, with an in-game ad banner.
That’s it for my September favourites, what have you guys been loving this month? I always like to hear about new products to try out!
Well here we are guys and dolls, another two months has passed and that can only mean one thing; another favourites! Don’t worry, I’m not going to talk about how fast the time has gone and how I really cannot believe it’s August already. I’m thinking it for sure, but I shan’t mention it. Ok let’s get right into what things and products I’ve been loving this past month!
Sweet Peas | These guys have really been thriving in our garden lately, and that means there’s always plenty in the house! They are really gorgeous colours, and they are one of my favourite scents.
Collection’s Extreme Felt tip Eyeliner | This product is insane. I bought it one day just to have it in my bag, but from using it, I’ve been obsessed ever since, and I haven’t been using any other eyeliner since. Recently I even tested it against the YSL felt tip eyeliner, and the Collection one lasted longer and even stayed on in water.
All About The Eyes Palette | When I’ve been having a bit more time to do my makeup I’ve been loving adding an orange toned gold to my eyes, as I feel it really brings out the blue of them. This palette is also amazing for creating a smoky eye effect, so for me it’s a perfect day-to-night palette.
Lancôme’s L’absolu Rouge in #06 ‘Rose Nu’ | This lipstick brings out the pink of the lips, while still keeping your whole look natural. I’ve been loving it for a long time now, but especially this month when I’ve been wearing slightly more on my eyes, I want a lipstick that’s lightweight and lightly pigmented, so altogether it isn’t too much.
Salon Professional Ultra Hold Hairspray | I’ve mentioned this hairspray before, but I’ve never stopped loving it. I’ve particularly been using it recently because these amazing summer days are lovely, but a gust of wind can really ruin a hairstyle, so I’ve been using this for securing my style so it’s weather-proof.
That’s it for my July Favourites! What have you guys been loving this past month? Let me know!
Over the past two months I’ve been trying out some new products, and returning to some of my previous favourites, so I’ve gathered them all together to share with you today!Fairy Lights | I’ve been searching for new fairy lights ever since I encountered a bit of a problem with my last ones… (heated up… melted things…) and I’ve been without any for quite a while, so this month after finding these at a very good price, I grabbed them, and can confidently say they are much safer and a perfect addition to my room.
Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eyeliner | I recently ran out of my trusty Rimmel London Professional Liquid Liner, and when I went shopping for a new one, I thought I’d try out something new, and I absolutely fell in love. I can get along just fine with a liquid liner, but this felt tip makes everything so much quicker. I adore it.
Lush Karma Bubble Bar | I have previously mentioned all of the reasons I love this bubble bar in my Lush Haul, and I have been continuing to repurchase and love it this month. I’m so glad I was enticed by the gorgeous orange colour, because it really is a relaxing and luxurious addition to my bath.
Yankee Candle ‘Soft Cotton’ | This one needs even less explanation. It’s my favourite scent, in a trusty little candle. Perfect to have in any place, in any room.
Moon Necklace | A few weeks ago, while at the All Things Vintage & Lovely event in Plymouth, I saw this gorgeous necklace at one of the stalls. At first I resisted, but I knew when I revisited the stall that it was meant for me, and was assured that it was “very you”, so I grabbed it before someone else saw it. Rimmel London ‘Lose Your Lingerie’ #203 | I prefer lighter colours on my nails, so in order to change it up from plain white all of the time, I occasionally go for a very light hint of pink, and this shade is just perfect.
Baby Lips Dr. Rescue | This month I gave into the hype and picked up a Baby Lips lip balm, I admit I just chose a plain one to give it a go, but it turns out a chose one with menthol in it, so it is even better for your lips! I’ve been addicted to it ever since buying it.
Nivea 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water | A little while ago I had a bad reaction to makeup removal wipes, so I’ve had to be extra careful with how I remove my makeup, simply sticking to water and a face wash. But this month I was determined to find something good for my skin that I could use. After finally discovering this product, I cannot sing its praises enough. It’s unscented and contains absolutely no alcohol, so it’s perfect for those of us with sensitive skin. And as it’s 3 in 1, if you don’t have the time or energy in the evening for a full blown skincare routine, this is the perfect product as it removes makeup, cleanses and moisturises – something which no other products do.
Beyonce Heat | And finally, this month I wanted to change up my perfume, so I went back to my trusty Beyonce ‘Heat’. It always reminds me of summer and you instantly get a Beyonce vibe when you use it, so what more reason do you need to love this scent?!
There are all of the things I’ve been loving these past months, have you rediscovered a product you used to love? Let me know in the comments below!
It’s that time again and I know everyone says it, but I cannot believe how quickly this year is going already. So without further ado, here are some of the things that I have been thoroughly loving this month!
Lush’s Dragon’s Egg | This is hands down, one of my favourite products that Lush do. It’s one of my favourites on account of many reasons, firstly, just to look at it, you’d assume it looks quite simple and maybe even a bit boring. But when it meets your bath; that’s when the true magic unveils itself. This bath bomb actually turns your bath water gold, and on top of all of that magic, it smells amazing, and if you don’t want to put the whole thing in your bath, you can split it and get two amazing baths out of it!
Radox’s Unwind Bath Soak | As you may be able to tell, I’ve really been enjoying a good bath recently, and nothing makes a bath more relaxing than bubbles. This product is almost always on some kind of deal, so I’d really recommend picking up some and giving it a try. They come in various types of ‘soak’ and you can select whichever one you feel that you’re craving, for example, ‘Muscle Therapy’, ‘Moisture Soak’ and ‘Nourish’. I’ve been loving ‘Unwind’ because it has a really deep, relaxing smell and it turns your bath water into a pure blue. Perfect for at the end of a long day or whenever you’re feeling a bit tense.
Salon Professional’s Extra Hold Hairspray | I have actually been loving this product for months. It does exactly what it says on the tin, providing extra hold for any style that you may choose. It prevents fly aways, and keeps your style in place all day. It’s not sticky, and something that never seems to come into the game of hairspray; it smells amazing. It doesn’t leave you choking on any fumes and it actually leaves your hair smelling amazing.
Frends Layla Headphones | I’ve been after these headphones for a couple of months, and this month, I found them on offer by Urban Outfitters, so I grabbed them. I absolutely adore these headphones because they aren’t huge, like most headphones, instead they are really small (perfect for people with small heads and ears such as myself). They have a really beautiful design, and are quite cute and girly, the perfect overhead headphones for me. Frends actually designed these with jewellery in mind, not only keeping the design pretty, while still delivery outstanding quality music, they are small enough to not press down on your ears if you are wearing earrings. They also come with this very handy case that makes them even easier to slip into your bag, and prevents the cables from tangling.
This one is a little bit of fun, because he is really handsome and special. Here is Puss in Boots, entirely hand knitted by grandmother for me! If you, like me, think he’s handsome, let me know in the comments below and I’ll let my grandmother know!
New Look’s Floral Socks | Since Spring has sprung, I’ve been slowly fading out all of the dark block colours, and bring in lighter colours and florals. These socks are a perfect in between because they can work at any time of year, but right now they’re perfect for wearing with heels or shoes with cut outs in them, so you can show off the daisies. And on top of all of that, they have an adorable frilled edge.
Oz Botanic’s Major Moisture Deep Conditioner | I mentioned this product in my Ombre Hair Care Routine, and it really is amazing. It has revived the ends of my hair, and leaves my hair soft, shiny and manageable! And as I’m sure I mentioned before, it smells good too, unlike most other deep conditioners that are more expensive, they do the trick but they don’t smell as lovely.
Nivea Creme | This moisturiser is such a staple for me, I always have it on me and it really is a miracle in a pot. There are no added colours or scents, so it’s amazing on sensitive skin, and it’s quite thick so it lasts you all day, and you don’t need to apply a lot; in this case, a little really goes a long way. They are also available in handy tiny pots that would fit right in your handbag or make-up bag, perfect for on the go.
Those are some of the things that I’ve been loving this month, let me know what you’ve been loving, whether it’s something you’ve always loved and used or if it’s something that you’ve newly discovered, I’d love to know!
We are officially nearing the end of January! So I thought it to be quite apt for me to share with you, the products that I’ve been loving this month. I’ve kept things quite simple because otherwise we’d all be here for a very long time and nobody wants that. So here we go!
Katy Perry’s Meow Perfume | This is such a light, cotton candy-esque scent, that I have adored since my friends bought it for me for my 17th birthday. It’s a really girly bottle (and shaped like a cat, so it’s one of the most amazing bottles ever), and the scent itself isn’t much different. I just really like this scent for this late winter/early spring time because we are moving away from the common autumnal/winter, warmer scents like gingerbread, pumpkin pie, and Yankee Candles Roast Turkey and Stuffing, and into the slightly cooler, fresher scents of spring. This perfume will have you excited for daffodils.
Argan Oil Heat Defence Leave in Spray | Now if you like to style your hair with heat, you are doing your hair a massive disservice if you are not preparing it to handle that heat. Your hair doesn’t tap you on the shoulder and tell you that it is being damaged while you’re styling it, it waits until you’ve done enough damage and simply starts to break off. So I beg of you, USE A HEAT DEFENCE SPRAY. So since we’re on the topic, this product. This product, with moroccan argan oil extract, works absolute wonders on your hair. In it’s own words, it is “Hydrating, Nourishing and Cleansing.” All you have to do is shake it and spray it generously through the main body of your hair, making sure to focus on the ends and away from the roots. Just get this spray, your hair will thank you later.
Imperial Leather’s Moisturising Face and Hand Wash | This may seem like a strange thing to include in my favourites, but if you suffer from dry skin from time to time, you’ll wonder what you were using before this product. While it can be used as just a liquid hand soap, when used in conjunction with your night time skin routine, after removing your makeup and before applying your moisturiser, this face wash is gentle on skin, containing almond oil and vitamin E. It leaves your skin not only feeling clean and makeup free, but hydrated. Preparing it to be even more grateful than usual for your evening moisturiser.
Lush’s Fresh Hair booklet | I picked this up on my way out of a short trip into Lush a few weeks ago with my pals, just because there was a stack of them to be honest. But oh my was I in for a great surprise! This handy little book not only details all of Lush’s new products, (I’m a particular fan of the Shampoo bars, you can get up to 40 washes out of one AND they are said to boost growth!) But it is filled with little tips and tricks to revive dry hair, tame unruly flyaways and how to eat right to improve the condition of your hair. (And it’s free!)
Mua’s Mega Volume Mascara | This mascara does exactly what it says on the tin (or in this case, mascara box?…) It is just not possible to be wasteful with this mascara, just a few flicks of the wand and you are good to go! Hands down, the longest and fullest any mascara has ever made my lashes look.
Collection’s Work the Colour in shade #22 ‘Lilac Daze’ | I’ve been on the lookout for a lilac nail varnish for what feels like an eternity now, so when I saw this one on sale I just grabbed it because it was a pretty shade. I have since been entirely converted to Collection Cosmetics. This varnish has a really good pigmentation, meaning I needed only 2 coats and I had the gorgeous lilac nails that I had been craving. Not to mention this brand has incredible lasting power, only showing slight signs of chipping after 6 days of wear.
Rimmel London’s Moisture Renew Lipstick in shade #360 ‘As You Want Victoria’ | Coming out of the winter months I have been adoring this lipstick. It’s incredibly pigmented, has great lasting power, only needing to be retouched after a good couple of hours and it’s moisturising! No need to be applying any other than this to your lips, it feels and looks, amazing. This shade is a girly pink but also dark and striking enough that it can be a statement on it’s own, with a simple cat-eye and nude eyeshadow tones.
Rimmel London’s Glam Eyes Liquid Liner | My. favourite. product of. all. time. This liner applies so easily. The thin brush means it lasts longer than other liquid liners, and miles longer than eyeliner pens; which tend to be much thicker, meaning your line can be too thick and you have the hassle of thinning it out and making it match the other eye. I have fallen in love with this liquid liner and I don’t see myself ever trying another brand.
That’s it from me, let me know in the comments below what you’ve been loving this month, I’d love to hear what products you’re using!
